On August 28, 2008, Staffan Enbom stepped down from being the webmaster of MERLib. He gave me (Esa Ruoho) the database, and now I have it running on my own machine with this IP-address URL only. I will be working on it whilst it runs on this machine, and hopefully getting it to run via fu.fi. The aim is to merge MERLib and Lackluster.org together, so that there will be more content and hopefully more cross-pollination between my music and the energy research that many people have worked on.

Through successive experimental arrangements, Tesla discovered several facts concerning the production of his effect. First, the cause was undoubtedly found in the abruptness of charging. It was in the switch closure, the very instant of "closure and break", which thrust the effect out into space. The effect was definitely related to time, IMPULSE time. Second, Tesla found that it was imperative that the charging process occurred in a single impulse. No reversal of current was permissible, else the effect would not manifest.

"What might appear to be empty space is, therefore, a seething ferment of virtual particles. A vacuum is not inert and featureless, but alive with throbbing energy and vitality. A 'real' particle such as an electron must always be viewed against this background of frenetic activity. When an electron moves through space, it is actually swimming in a sea of ghost particles of all varieties – virtual leptons, quarks, and messengers, entangled in a complex mêlée. The presence of the electron will distort this irreducible vacuum activity, and the distortion in turn reacts back on the electron.

In our thinking we have rid ourselves of the question of guilt. We blame nobody, but we remove barriers to our rational freedom of movement. If a rock on the road blocks my car, I do not declare that the rock is guilty but I get it out of the way; I do not destroy or condemn or imprison it, but simply move it aside. If the rock is too heavy, I drive around it. If there is no road by which I can drive around it, I take the trouble to build a piece of road. This takes time and effort but it is unavoidable. Under no circumstances do we accuse the rock.

A Sydney inventor has refused a giant American oil company’s offer to buy out his method of turning tap water into fuel.

The offer is one of more than a dozen Mr Yull Brown, of Auburn, has received.

Mr Brown’s invention allows oxygen and hydrogen extracted from ordinary tap water to be used safely for almost any type of burning fuel.

He envisages the day when cars, stoves, heating and most of industry can be run on water or the gas extracted from it.
